Rielle Hunter granted her first public interview, and many have felt that it was about time. Everyone who has anything remotely to do with the scandal has appeared on Oprah Winfrey, been interviewed by major news networks, and have granted interviews. Rielle Hunter, however, the subject of the scandal has remained undoubtedly loyal to John Edwards, and remained quiet throughout the four year long affair.

During the interview, pictures were taken of Rielle for the interview that some have also found to be controversial. Photos of Rielle wearing a long blouse and no pants have upset many in the public and reportedly left Rielle in tears for several hours. Barbara Walters broke the news on this morning’s episode of ‘The View’ stating that Rielle was displeased with the sexy photos and cried when she saw them.

In the GQ interview, Rielle spoke very fondly of John Edwards, leading many to believe that the two will soon seal their relationship and new family unit with marriage.

The comments made by Rielle in the interview have led many to draw the conclusion that she and John Edwards are in a serious relationship and that the reports regarding an engagement are true.
