The news of finding Shaniya Davis’ body hit the nation hard and caused an outpouring of emotion stemming from utter grief to downright anger. Why? Why was this senseless tragedy allowed to occur? Why was Mario McNeill given an early release from probation? There may, however, be no greater question that must be answered, than how could a mother sell her own child as a sex slave? Antoinette Davis has been charged with human trafficking, child abuse involving prostitution, and filing a false police report.
