2010 Winter Olympics Schedule for Feb. 17 (watch live online, recaps, and full replays)
February 17, 2010 is a busy day for the 2010 Winter Olympics. This morning at 9:00 a.m. PT saw the Curling Women’s Round Robin Session 2. Full recaps and replays are available on the NBC Olympics website. There are two Curling sessions currently underway, these are Switzerland versus Sweden and Japan versus Canada all are Women’s Round Robin Session 2.

At 10:15 and 10:40 the Ladies and Men’s Individual Sprint Classic Qualifications for Cross-Country Skiing were held. You can access results at the website as well. At 11:00 a.m. PT, Ladies’ Downhill Alpine Skiing began and the competition is a medal event. You may watch the competition live.
Another anticipated event takes place at 12:00 p.m. PT- the Men’s Preliminary Round- Group C Game 4 Ice Hockey. It’s Finland versus Belarus.
Cross Country Skiing resumes at 12:30 for the Ladies’ Individual Sprint Classic Quarterfinals and at 12:58 for the Men’s Individual Sprint Classic Quarterfinals.
13:05 or 1:05 p.m. PT sees the Snowboard Men’s Halfpipe Qualification. At 13:26, 13:38 and 13:52 more Cross-Country Skiing events will take place. These include semifinals and finals.
At 2:00 p.m. PT Curling takes the stage with Men’s Round Robin Session 3. At 2:02 Men’s Individual Sprint Classics Finals are held, this will be a medal event.
At 14:30 or 2:30 p.m. PT The Women’s Preliminary Round Group A Game 9 Ice Hockey will be held.
Another medal event is underway at 16:00 or 4:00 p.m. PT, 7:00 p.m. ET as the Men’s 1000 m Speed Skating event is underway.
At 4:30 p.m. the Men’s Preliminary Round of Ice Hockey, Group C Game 5 kicks off between Sweden and Germany.
Luge Double’s Run 1 is set for today at 17:00 or 5:00 p.m. PT, 8:00 p.m. ET, at the same time, the Ladies’ 500 m Quarterfinals Short Track will be held.
Snowboarding sees the Men’s Halfpipe semifinals at 17:15 or 5:15 p.m. PT,. 8:15 ET. Shortly afterwards, at 17:25 (5:25 p.m. PT) the Men’s 1000m Heats Short Track is held, followed by the 18:10 (6:10 p.m. PT) Ladies’ 500 m Semifinals Short Track.
The Luge Medal Event Doubles’ Run 2 takes place at 18:30 or 6:30 p.m. PT, or 9:30 p.m. ET.
At 6:32 the Men’s 5000 m Relay Semifinals (Short Track) will be underway.
At 7:00 p.m. PT Curling returns to the spotlight with Women’s Round Robin Session 3. It will be the Russian Federation versus Denmark, Great Britain versus Sweden, and China versus Switzerland.
The Women’s Preliminary Round Group A Game 10 in Ice Hockey kicks off at 7:00 p.m. PT and features Slovakia against Switzerland. Following are two medal events. AT 19:07 or 7:07 p.m. PT the Ladies’ 500 m Finals in Short Track will be held. At 19:15 or 7:15 p.m. PT the Men’s Halfpipe Finals in Snowboarding will take place.
Events conclude with the 21:00 9:00 p.m. PT, Men’s Preliminary Round Group B Game 6 event between Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Winter Olympics 2010 are underway with a full schedule. Just in case fans miss their favorites sports competition or would like to see a champion win a gold, silver, or bronze medal for a second time, the official NBC Olympics site has made live and full replay videos available online.

Those who wish to watch the Olympics streaming live online might find the task a bit daunting. Those in other countries can access live streams from BBC Sports, but for the majority of events, those in the United States will find that NBC Olympics provides the best viewing coverage. Many of the videos may not be embedded, though there are some videos available at the VANOC (Vancouver Organizing Committee WebTeam) channel on YouTube. However, you can sign up for free on the NBC Olympics 2010 site and receive access to the online stream.

Those who are in the United States and insist upon watching the Olympics full schedule through their computers might find that a TV tuner card is the best approach. For those who don’t have TV tuner cards can watching video players that stream NBC channels may be the best option.
