The special is only for today and beverages are not included. A commercial on Applebees website states that they are providing the meals free of charge to show their gratitude and thankfulness for the service provided by military personnel this Veterans Day. This Veterans Day, members of the military can get free meals at Applebees. The offer is good for the entire day and proof of military service is required. Active military personnel may wear their uniforms and ids to prove their service. Applebees lists a number of different criteria that will be used to verify identification. They are as follows:
